We ended up with 120 guests total and it was a perfect amount for the space, although really we could have fit a couple more tables in with plenty of room! Also, as it used to be a night club, the entire space is already wired for sound and lighting and Motor City provides employees to oversee them both the night of the wedding!
Everyone also spoke extremely highly of the entire staff at Motor City, from the valet attendants to the bartenders to the wait staff to housekeeping! The view from Amnesia (their old night club, now an event space) was absolutely breathtaking, especially at night, and we received so many compliments from our guests on how lovely the entire evening was.
We felt so looked after - not only in her and her staff helping us with any questions that came to mind, but also because of her proactivity in asking the questions that wouldn’t have come to mind, knowing the space, and being able to guide us whilst creatively tailoring an evening that felt unique and completely representative of us. We absolutely loved Amnesia at Motor City for our wedding! From start to finish we felt well cared for and Kristen (the Conference and Catering Sales Manager) was amazingly helpful throughout the planning process.
